Main responsibilities

Accounting

• Support in the preparation of monthly and annual financial closings; provide basic input for the monthly reporting process.
• Analytical accounting.
• Posting of daily accounting entries for the parent company and its subsidiaries.
• Coordination with various departments to gather the necessary information related to purchase and supply contracts; support in purchase decision-making.
• Implementation of process efficiency improvements.
• Reconciliation of different company areas and sensitive accounts.

Treasury

• Support in cash flow planning.
• Management of collections and payments.
• Monitoring of accounts receivable and payable, including follow-up on respective aging reports.
• Support in maintaining relationships with financial institutions.
• Coordination with group suppliers.

Tax

• Preparation, filing, and payment of taxes, ensuring compliance with Spanish tax obligations with appropriate support from external advisors.

Knowledge and Skills

• Solid accounting background.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience performing similar functions, preferably in multinational environments.
• Experience with SAGE will be a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (highly important).
• Intermediate level of English.
