Role Summary

The Business Analyst plays a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, the analyst is responsible for eliciting, analysing, and documenting requirements to support the delivery of effective, data-driven solutions. This role involves defining business problems, validating solutions, and supporting implementation through clear communication, structured documentation, and collaboration with technical teams — particularly the Data Team.

The Business Analyst also contributes to the continuous improvement of processes, systems, and services by facilitating workshops, performing data analysis, and ensuring knowledge transfer to operational teams. Strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to challenge constructively are essential for success in this dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand the business context and strategic objectives to support early-stage requirement definition.
• Elicit true business needs from stakeholders, looking beyond stated wants or assumed solutions.
• Analyse and synthesise stakeholder input, data, and process information to define clear business objectives and outcomes.
• Translate business needs into high-quality deliverables, including:
  • Business and system requirements
  • Workflows and process maps
  • Data requirements
  • Test and deployment plans
  • Training materials and user documentation
• Write requirements in a structured and testable format (e.g. Gherkin).
• Collaborate with the Data Team and other technical teams to refine and align requirements with business goals.
• Lead or co-facilitate stakeholder workshops to support requirements modelling and validation.
• Support project planning and assist delivery teams throughout implementation.
• Ensure effective knowledge transfer and adoption by creating training content and guiding operational handover.
• Assist operations teams in resolving complex product or process issues.
• Perform data analysis to inform decisions and validate business outcomes.
• Stay current with emerging methodologies, technologies, and system capabilities through ongoing research and industry engagement.

Qualifications

• Fluent English in both speaking and writing
• Fluent or competent in Spanish in speaking and writing
• Strong understanding of enterprise data models and concepts like referential integrity.
• Knowledge of business metrics and operational KPIs.
• Able to thrive in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision.
• CRM experience required; Salesforce experience preferred.
• Salesforce Administration experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with ITIL principles.
• Experience eliciting and documenting requirements across complex change portfolios.
